HISTORY
NORTHSIDE BAKERY was established in 1992 in the heart of Greenpoint – a predominately Eastern European neighborhood that craved the taste of their homeland. Within the year the bakery outgrew its capacity and moved to the “North Side” of Williamsburg thus enquiring the name. It didn’t take long for the bakery to gain momentum. The hard working family of three brothers, sister and their parents used their combined talents and passion for baking to achieve “The Best Bread in Brooklyn” award. With the dedicated group of outstanding bakers, pastry chefs, delivery drivers and customer service personnel, Northside Bakery expanded its presence throughout New York City, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania and Maryland. To meet the growing demand for Artisan bread and pastries - a new modern facility was built in Glendale, New York. With the state-of-the-art equipment, Northside Bakery can now accommodate all its customer’s needs. Each member of the family plays an important role in the daily operations ensuring the bakery’s future and “perfection in every bite”. “Our children are the backbone of the bakery.
