Strong rustic flavor is achieved by long and temperature controlled fermentation process. The final step - baking in our stone deck oven, keeps our bread crusty on the outside and moist on the inside. Besides exceptional taste, shape and color, we also achieved extended freshness without any kind of artificial additives.
My three daughters loved Granny's 100% Rye bread. They grew up eating Silver Bell's Farmer's Rye Light Lithuanian bread. Both use fresh yeast. The Framer's Rye also has wheat. But the Granny's Rye bread is very good in its own right. Good with avocado, hummus and a lot of other stuff they now eat.
Ordered this bread for the first time and was pleasantly surprised with the taste and density of the bread. I ordered a couple of whole 6 pound loaves and some other items and even got free shipping.
This bread was just as delicious as the bread I used to buy in my local delis at Queens years ago. Since I move to a different state it is difficult to find the same quality product.
