I love this bread and buying it well over 5 years. It's always a challenge to find it in stores. That's why, when I see it, I buy all (usually 3-4, no more). Now, Instead of hunting down my favorite bread at stores, I'm ordering straight from the Northside Bakery website. With fast shipping and delivery plus cheaper prices than in stores,it's now my best choice. Bread quality is always perfect.
Well, I only got to enjoy the bread for a few days when I noticed something growing on it. Needless to say I'm super disappointed. I think I'll start looking at local bakeries. I'm just hoping it wasn't because the bread was already old when it shipped.
I just received my 100% rye bread in the mail. It smells SOOO good and the flavor is perfect!! I put almond butter and raw unfiltered honey on the first slice. I'm wondering if I should have bought a whole loaf. LOL Thank you for this little piece of heaven and being so quick with my delivery order!! You've got a dedicated customer!
I ordered 2 so I wouldn’t run out but one quarter loaf has several slices so I froze the second. I was eager to try it so I made a quick sandwich. I was not disappointed, it held together well and tasted great. Texture was good and dense enough to hold what I put on it.
Great so far, looking forward to getting some pastrami now to do a real test!
