I bought and LOVED what is labeled "poppy seeds strudel" at a store I passed on a road trip yesterday. I would love to be able to buy it again. This isn't exactly the same, is it?
We’re a poppy seed loving family...but yes...please ditch the fake margarines!

The poppyseed cake would be phenomenal if it weren’t for the artificial margarine with sodium benzoate and artificial butter flavor. Come on Northside Bakery! You can make this with just butter or higher quality margarine.
